The Call Of God

The Call of God

This morning service was inspirational indeed!

Here are some questions that we probably all ask ourselves while going through our daily journey with Jesus.
Who receives the call of God?
Who does God choose to call?
Why does he speak to some and not others?

Often times we see our preachers, Sunday school teachers, missionaries and service people of the Lord and we think wow, they have been hand selected, chosen as it were by God himself to preform these certain and specific tasks, laborers of love. They must not sin near as much or have as great a burden of sin as I.
Indeed they have sinned, continue to do so and still have been chosen by God. However we fail to realize that we have all been called by God, chosen by Him! Hand selected by the Lord Jesus Christ! It came to my attention that God is NEVER silent! He is always there speaking, we are just not listening, or listening but not willing to labor. And chosen one's ( ministers, missionaries, Sunday school teachers, children church preachers,) are the one's who have stopped and listened and obeyed or surrendered to God's will in their lives!
The call of God is for all humanity, aka EVERYONE! It is just dependent upon us, our disposition and the state of our ears to hearing and mind to understanding, God's "small still voice" as whether or not we hear what he is trying to say to us. Every one's call is not the same and really it could be a really simple task or call that God wants us to do, we just have to be willing stop and listen and do it!
We need to listen!
"also I heard the voice of the Lord saying: "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."
Isaiah 6:8
We need to have the right disposition!
"Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice, rebuke the oppressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land"
Isaiah 1:16-18
We all sin and still we remain redeemed by Jesus!
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified by His grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ"
Romans 3:23&24
Walk with me oh my Lord!
The Great Almighty, the one who is my sustainer, He who sent us!
"Thy word, have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
Psalms 119:11&12

Listening to that small still voice in order to Just Serve Jesus!

Thanks Brother Larry for listening to, obeying and sharing God's word with us!
